Bautech PE-Xa Pipe 16x2 mm, with oxygen barrier, is a cross-linked polyethylene tube with peroxide, a special process through which polyethylene molecules bond into a three-dimensional structure that provides the tube with superior strength and durability, mechanical and thermal characteristics for use in heating installations.
• Superior resistance over time;
• Blocks the formation and deposition of microorganisms on the inner walls of the tube;
• Reduces corrosion of metal elements that come into contact with heating water (heating equipment and junctions);
• Reduces the combination of free oxygen atoms with hydrogen atoms in the molecular structure of polyethylene, which over time leads to the aging of the tubes.
